Christmas gifts for Dog walkers (and the like)

Hi guys,

I am sure many of you have dog walkers (Doggy Daycare Attendants etc.). What would be an appropriate Christmas/Holiday gift? I googled and found a few suggestions but the only one I thought was ok was 1 weeks pay. Cruz goes 4 days a week @ $16 a day.. so would that mean I could just give "bonus" type of gift of $65 with a nice card? I want them to know I appreciate the great care they take with Cruz... but I am not rolling in money or anything so I can't go all out.

Any thoughts, suggestions?

How about making them some type of goodies? Im not rolling in $$ this year for sure and I just made my family and friends some home made chocolate covered pretzel rods and some home made dog cookies for their pups!

Im a trainer, and received lovely homemade goodies, wine, and so on.. I loved all of them and appreciated the gesture. Not sure if these ideas help. Oh and one of my classes game me a beautiful leather leash! So maybe you can give her something along those lines? However you cant go wrong with cash.

Hmmm... good idea. I think I will bake something yummy and give the extra cash. Everyone loves money and the homemade goodies will add a personal touch! Perfect!

I know as a teacher, I appreciated the yummy gifts or even gift cards.

So, I baked some chocolate chip cookies and put them in a nice box, and I picked up a toy for their Kittie and a big gourmet "ginger bread man" cookie for their 2 dogs to share...(it's a BIG cookie) & put $50 in a card. I hope they know how much we appreciate the great care they take of Cruz even though we couldn't give them more
