Just Abby!!

I'm still working with Abby so she'll let me trim her nails. I tried the dremel, no luck. She was even worst than with the clippers. So we went back to square one with the clippers. I'm using the jackpot treat method now. LOL When she lets me touch the clippers to her nails she get a treat. When she let me actually trim a nail she get 4. So far it's working!

Anyway, after tonight's session she jumped up on the bed and decided to do a little modeling for me. Here are some pics.

She is such a beauty. Congrats on the toenail clipping. I'm going through this with Sadie our pit mix, her nails haven't been trimmed in ages. The vet did them last time when she was spayed and out cold. Her nails look so different from most of the dogs we've had. All her paws are black and white and all her nails are multi colored. Going from black to white and it's really hard to see where the nail ends and the quick begins. And due to my stupidity, we play a game where she goes partway up the steps and I pinch her toes and she poles at me and kicks at me. So that isn't the best way to train for toenail clipping. She is going into the kennel for 3 days next week and I caved in and told them that $14.00 to clip her nails is fine with me. They say they can do it with no problems, we'll see.

LOL... I looked at this really fast and thought you said what a loser. LOL Think I need to get my eyes checked!!

Thanks everyone! She's really starting to lose her puppy face. She's getting so big so fast!
