Thank you!!! I love my boxer girls & color doesn't matter. What I love is the fact that you don't see many reverse seal brindles but what gets annoying with that is hearing people try to guess what kind of dog you have or if she is really a full blooded boxer. I've had people say she's a lab, repeatedly ask if she's full blooded & ask what is she mixed with. Then you get the people who refer to her as "a rare black boxer". After correcting so many I get tired of it & just say..yep, you got it. LOL

I used to get that with my Show Cockers. Most people have never seen a properly bread American Cocker Spaniel, only the ugly, ill-tempered BYB ones. Anytime we went anywhere with them in full show-coat people were like, 'What kind of dog is THAT?!!?" and when I'd tell them, they'd look at me like I was crazy. LOL I used to try to explain the difference between my cockers & the cockers they were used to seeing but eventually just gave up. LOL
Now we get that with "Jolly" (our foster) because he doesn't really look like a boxer (he looks more like a brown Rottie LOL) but at least they have a reason to ask, now. Hee-Hee

Yes..beautiful! When I took Winnie to the specialists we saw a boxer that looked pitch black! I asked if he were a reverse seal. They told me, no, black. This dog was definately all boxer. I just assume that they didn't know but I had never seen a reverse seal up close. Do they really look that solid black?

Murphy does look all black unless you catch her in the right light. In the right light you can catch a reddish fawn color. Only two times have I seen the brindle markings on her. Both times was when she was in the car.
