Been off here for awhile and miss you guys! Just wanted to say sorry I missed the card exchange this year and wish you all a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!!
Things here are very busy as always and will remain that way now through the spring The dogs are all doing great but Karma has been having her tremmors or siezures again and it is still scarey as ever. She only has them at night time and seems to always be asleep when it starts. She usually snaps right out of it and right back to her normal self. Most recently as last night...woke up at midnight to the bed shaking and poor lil baby was tremmoring and it felt like it lasted forever. Strangely if you get her a piece of dog food or a treat it snaps her right out of it. Vet can't find any answers as to why this happens to Karma and says she is in ideal condition still. Toby and Kati are getting along great with the cushings diagnosis so far. We had another death in the family Thursday and that has put a damper on the holidays (RIP Grama T.) The snow we got yesterday is helping get us back in the Christmas spirit some. Hope you all enjoy a safe holiday season! ~ Kimi |

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!! Seizures in our fur babies are very scary. Glad to hear that they are all doing well though.
So sorry to hear about the loss in your family.

Thanks guys
My daughter stayed up there with her father and family, I came home to take care of our doggies. Karma doesn't seem to be seizuring, it is kind of like a tremmor. We are going to take her in for another vet check after the holidays so maybe we can ask more about the seizure theroy and meds. She has had a few more choking incidents recently than we are comfortable with but the vet says there isn't anything we can do about that. We just try to make sure she doesn't get ahold of anything but when she chokes it is usually from some leaf or piece of bark or something she grabs up while outside. Lately she isn't choking up anything though, she just chokes. We are well aware of her condition and it is watched closely by us & her vet. Just happy she is still with us and enjoying her life no matter how long that will be. I miss chatting on here with you all but just don't make the time these days to get on here as much...With year end pressing in I will probably be off-line again for awhile. Stay safe during your holiday travels - you all and your pets remain in my prayers even if I am not on-line with you daily anymore |
