OK back again. Yes the driver stopped. No they didn't offer any help or give their name or anything of the sort. That just pisses me off.. Even though they were both at fault they should have offered some help with her bill. However, I have since learned not everyone is as honest as me...but I digress sorry. She is ok broken front leg and a pretty bad abrasion/cut from the tire that ran over her leg and some bruised lungs. (never heard of that) she is home and sleepy but they said my suggestion of giving her an ice cube to suck on got her to drink some water for the first time since last night. He hand fed her a bit and she ate a small lunch but now sleepy Im sure from the stress the pain and the medication for pain. Thanks for all your concern and replies. it's nice to know someone understands. I donated 200 to her vet bill to help out and they weren't supposed to know but the vet told them. But all in all she is doing ok.

I'm glad that she's home & resting. Poor pup, I can only imagine the pain she's in. I know if I were to hit an animal like that I'd be offering to help pay. That is so nice of you to help them out like that. I will keep Piper in my prayers that she continues to feel better with each passing day.
