Default Banks is acting out badly

First of all, he's been a GREAT dog so far. He's always good at listening and is very smart.

The past 2 weeks though, he's been acting very bad... not listening to commands, getting into things he's never gone after, and has been overall just rotten.

Around that time, maybe a bit earlier - we started letting him sleep on his bed in the bedroom outside of his crate. When we would go to put him in his crate if we were to leave or anything, he would act out and there would be tons of bark spit on the floor when we'd come back. And just today he ended up pee'ing his crate. I'm worried that this could turn into something worse and want to try to stop it right away...

I'm not sure if this is just his "rebellion" time or what, but has anyone else experienced this? We are starting to put him back in his crate at night so he gets used to it again. I guess we started letting him sleep in his bed outside of the crate too soon.

Nikki - he's about 16 months old now, I just want to see if there is something I can do to stop his acting out before it becomes a major problem and he gets rotten...

Sorry I don't know. I have Nikki in agility and try to keep her training up so she doesn't get too wild... I've thought of doing a back to basics -level one with her again just to brush up on both our skills. Some people have such well behaved dogs. Nikki knows how to behave but chooses when to... My trainer told me usually when they hit 2 something clicks and you notice all your hard work finally pays off.

I have noticed a definite difference in Pheona as she gets closer to turning 2 yrs old. She's so much more behaved. She still likes to have fun but she's listens a lot better now. Not saying she didn't before but now when you tell her something she'll do it & not try to avoid doing the work.
