Ive never been to a dog park because there are none close by but I highly doubt I would go because for 1 Kippah is dominant and dog aggressive(working on this) and I just dont like the idea that people dont control their dogs...I would end up in a fight with someone Im sure lol Plus I believe its a hotbed for parasites and disease. I mean sure I think some people give shots and make sure their dog is in good health but Im sure there are lots that dont.

We have a dog park here maybe about 20 minutes from us. A girl that I met in doggie class had her dog at the dog park here & she said about people just letting their dogs do whatever, not watching them. She said there was an overly aggressive boxer there (she knew the normal with boxers playing as her dog & Pheona would play after classes) & then she said her dog got sick after being at the park.

I don't think I could ever not take Lucy to the park she LOVES it, it's like Disneyland to her. all the other owners are very responsible and aware of their dogs at the park, but then there are those few guys who think that it's ok for their dog to do what ever they want. I do take Lucy to the other side of the park to play away from the male dog when he's bothering her but as soon as I let her go she runs to the other side of the park wanting to play with the dogs over there and it happens again. sometimes the male dog's owner takes his dog home because he wont stop humping, I wish they all would do that. I am not willing to take my dogs home minutes after we get there because of these dogs, I think they should leave, they are the problem not my girl and most have been there for a while before we get there. I don't think it matters but the male dogs in question are all XL pitbulls, I have nothing against pit bulls my boy is half Pitt but these guys weigh an easy 90lbs each and my Lucy is only 55lbs so they could really hurt back by jumping on her to hump and it kinda scares me when they pursue her because they're so focused on her and she's oblivious to the male dog, she's just frolicking happily and the males usually bulldoze her then try to mount.

we go to the park several times a week for a few months now and she plays and runs with all the dogs big and small the problem is she probably thinks the un neutered males are just wrestling or some other kind of rough play and keeps returning to play with them after I take her away from them because she is a boxer who likes to play rough and enjoys boxing them. although she is stubborn and strong willed I think she will eventually realize that it's not play and to run away, it would be nice if she realizes this sooner than later, this mama wants her little girl to stay away from the bad boys and the boys to keep away from her. I've never had this problem with any of my other female dogs at the dog park before so this is new territory for me. one lady said Lucy was a "hussy" because the males like to try to hump her.
