So 3 days ago my brother in law brought his female chihuahua to my house so that I could house sit. I have 3 boxers and one chihuahua as well One reverse sealed brindle boy Apollo and two girls One fawn and brindle None of my boxers have ever done anything to either before but today I woke up and found his Chihuahua dead in my front yard with dog bites The thing is the chihuahua has stayed over multiple times and nothing has ever happened. My boy Apollo just turned a year and the girls are 9 months. Do you think my boy Apollo could have done it ? If so why? Also the chihuahua does get out sometimes . She fits through the gate?

OMG. How horrible. Without knowing what happened I don't know what to say. I'm very sorry this happened.

Do any of your dogs have blood on them? Is it possible that another neighborhood dog or coyote got into your yard? What a sin, and awful way to start your day

No they aren't they seem fine. I couldn't believe it either . I was thinking maybe she was bitten by anothere dog because she gets out of our yard sometimes and she managed to get back to the house. I just wanted to see if this has ever happend when a boxer attacks its own pack member because. My boxers are all very sweet and haven't done anything to MY chihuahua and he's fisty.

If you said the other dog could get out of your yard, then it's possible it got out & had enough strength to get back to your place. Have you heard of any attacks on dogs in your area??
