I know ive only had Ricki for 4 days, but........
I hate leaving him!!! Lol. At the moment i am leaving him for an extra hour a day so he is ok for when i go back to work next week. I spend the entire time paniking that he isnt ok. Is that odd? So far, we have had any major dramas but the most i have left him for is 3 hours. Going for 4 tomorrow - i dont know how i will cope! There's the odd thing on the floor that wasnt when i left - and he is always incredibly happy to see us - bum wagging so much he can hardly stand up!! And considering i am expecting to return to complete devastation .Anyway, i thought id post on here as you guys might understand. My other half just looks at me like ive gone mad. I dont know what i am going to do with myself when i go for 6 hours on Friday!!!! |

It's just like leaving a child when maternity leave is over. It's rough at first, but it gets easier with time, especially when you know he's safe and sound at home.
Are you crating? That would give you more peace of mind than worrying if your house will be destroyed each time you come home! I hate leaving mine too - it's a lot more fun playing with the dogs and snuggling with them, than going to work -lol! |

When I first got Rosco I worked a lot and it was horrible I missed him so much and I couldn't tell if I had been gone for a couple of hours or a couple of years it felt so long! :'(
