need some advice

ok my Sil lab that is staying with us for a while more ate yes ate and entire leather moccasin includng the metal eyes the lace went through I found about 3" of it left in her mouth when I woke up this am to go to work any idea how long before she starts passing the metal ? should I take her to the vet? just moniter her for now? im not too worried about all the leather she ate as it was not treated and was all natural but the riveted eyes I am concerned with suggestions?

I think for now is just keep a close eye out the metal is small enough or will just pass

Well, the metal can't be very big, right? I would think it would pass without much problem. I'd start looking tonite into tomorrow for passage.

In all seriousness though, if you think it will pass I would just start watching; if you haven't seen anything in the next few days and anything changes (no eating, no pooping, etc) then I would go see the vet.
