Coffee???
Has anybody's dog ever drank 1/2-3/4 of a Starbucks coffee.. Vanilla latte.. Will it hurt him?? Rex knocked mine over in car and drank allot...

I have no idea of the potential toxicity of coffee with dogs but you are going to have one VERY hyper boy! Lol

I have to make sure my coffee is on a high cupboard otherwise Mattie will drink it all. It hasn't hurt her anytime she has gotten into it but she was a little more excitable then usual

The caffeine in coffee is not good for dogs, but hopefully most of it went in your carpet in the car rather than his tummy.
Just keep an eye on him, he might get kind of hyper.

Dawn its usually the grounds that are toxic. I wouldnt worry about the coffee so much.

Thanks guys!!
Wasn't sure if it would hurt him but i figured it was grounds that were bad part for dogs.. Most of it was milk with 2oz of coffee shots!! Oh and topped with whip cream :/ Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App

Like others said, it's the grounds or beans. And caffeine isn't good for them...

My wife has a pic of Archie with her Starbucks he will steal coffee every chance he gets never has hurt him

Georgie almost always tries to snag a sip of my coffee... If she's successfully, it's usually only a few sips and I've never noticed any ill effects from it. But the first time it happened (she knocked over my full mug on the deck and licking it up before I could clean it), I was freaking out... I was ready to take her to the vet!! But I read some comments and felt better about it!

I'm not sure what it is about coffee and beer but if Gibby smells/sees either he starts frothing at the mouth and will try his hardest to get a drink. Coffee, beer and cheese are the only things he'll risk trying to sneak off of a table or counter.
