Thats one smart boy!

I fill up my girls' water bowl from the water cooler and have subsequently taught Karma to drink from the spigot. She hasnt figured out that you have to push the lever but if i hold it down she will drink from it. I always give her a wee nip after filling the bowl.

She drinks great from a water bottle too. It works great in the warmer weather when out at the park or on a walk. No need to bring a bowl.

We tried to disconnect but then we won't get ice.. Nico loves ice too! He has managed a few times to hit the lever for the ice to come out so I'm just waiting for that to click and he starts going for ice..

He can be in the basement and if he hears someone go for the ice he comes running within seconds.. Lol

Just locate the water line feed to the door water valve, disconnect it and/or cap it if necessary. This means you migh have to take the back off of the refrigerator to see how the water is plumbed.

LOL! They certainly are smart, it drives me crazy when people think they're not because they are high energy. Good luck finding a solution, and with teaching him off
