Jenga has been through two heat cycles, and I want to know when is a safe time to spay her. I thought it was a few months after she's been in heat.
She is so wild now I'm concerned about recovery from surgery. Would it be best to do it where she'll spend the night with vet staff available 24 hours? |

2-3 months after the end of the heat cycle is considered a safe time.

3 months after her last heat cycle is a good time frame. Most vets require a female to stay the night after a spay, if yours doesn't and you are concerned about her well being then I would ask if they would be willing to keep her.
