Looks like a boxer. There was one at my local boxer rescue not too long ago that was 2 years old and 36 lbs. Not underfed just tiny.

There is a boxer down the road from me whose 6yr old boxer is only 4lb heavier than my 9 month old... And Sally isn't a giant, she was the runt.
Just like people they come big and small!

Letty is 1yr and a couple months and only weighs in around 40lbs.so there are small boxers out there.He looks to be all boxer as far as I can tell from the picture.

I highly doubt that's actually a two year old. It looks more like a one year old.

The legs look puppyish to me. I had a female that was quite petite at 2, but she hadn't been well cared for. It took me about 6 months to fill her out. Boxers do seem to grow past 2 yrs also. Look at it this way, its easier to be a lap dog when you don't weigh in at 85lbs. and hang over the chair at both ends.

Depends on the his weight and size. AKC means the parents are both AKC registered (its about the bloodline), but if he does not meet the AKC standard of weight, length and height, he would not be able to compete. He is a cutie pie anyway!!! Yeah, I do not like when people try to breed smaller boxers. Boxers are not meant to be that small....if people want smaller dogs they should get a smaller breed and not try to mess with the standard. It pains me to think what they do to the dogs to try to breed smaller.
