Stray boxer. Co-worker's friend took her in
I haven't heard from my coworker this weekend so her friend might be keeping the boxer. They have named her Bella.
 I'm actually a little sad that they don't want me to keep her...I contacted the boxer rescue in my area and they brought up the fact that maybe she wasn't abandoned but that she may be so skinny because she was lost for so long. If she just ran off, wouldn't she come back once she started to starve at least? I'm going to see if her friend has checked animal shelters around, but the boxer rescue wasn't aware of any lost boxers. I hate to post her in lost and found and have her possibly go back to a horrible situation. What do you all recommend? Sent from Petguide.com Free App

Update!!!! The stray boxer, named Bella now, got a home this weekend! My coworker's friend talked to her friends and one had been wanting a boxer. She made sure that it would be a good fit with her lifestyle and she felt very comfortable homing her there. Yay!!!

Oh and I looked in all the papers and Craigslist over the weekend and there weren't any listings for a lost boxer. She must have been abandoned. Sad thing is they probably got a puppy or something. Ugh! This is why I like dogs more than most people.
