Logan and Abby Live!

I was able to set up my laptop last night to get live streaming video of Logan and Abby while I'm at work. Here's the link if anyone's interested in checking in on them: mandymhouston on USTREAM: Logan and Abby.. Dogs

Not really sure what to expect out of them. LOL

That's awesome! So are you using your webcam for that? I have wanted to set something up to watch what Gabby does all day.

By the way, I would never get out of bed if I had that aquarium! So soothing.

Yeah, my laptop came with a camera built in so I'm using that. The only downside was finding a place to put the laptop out of their reach. I have it on my bearded dragon's cage for now. I thought they'd be playing a bit, but they seem content with snoozing for now.

I love my aquarium! It's a 75 gallon and it is soothing to watch the fish swim around.

What a great idea..

they look very relaxed lol. I have to agree aquariums are extremely soothing. We use to have one, I miss it.

Oh, not a problem there! As soon as I walk through that door I'm shutting the cam off and it'll stay off the rest of the day. I'm only planning to do this for a day or so, probably just today since they're just sleeping anyway. I was just curious on how they spent their time.

It is soothing. I considered tearing it down a year or so ago after I had a big die off of fish, but ended up restocking it. I have a good sized leopard sailfin pleco and a pair of firemouth cichlids in there right now which are my favorites. I have other fish too, but those are my favorites.

I just took a look - looks like they sure are stressing you have left them alone LOL - but it does give you peace of mind to know they settle down when you are gone - they look adorable!

that is so cool, i wanna try this on my laptop at home. did you just download and set up an account for the ustream?

When you click Log In you're given the option of logging into Ustream using your Facebook account. On the upper right hand corner of the screen it says "Go Live!". You click on that and then a page loads where you need to check of an allow box giving them permission to access your laptops camera. Then you're good to go. It took me less than a minute to set it up and I was expecting a much lengthier process.

i am so doing this tonight when i get home, i am thrilled you showed this, i want to see what my kids do during the day. well i know dually is limited in her crate but rusty can get busy with my blinds and eat them lol
