Small specks of blood in vomit

Hey guys, I posted on the Facebook page but no one is biting on there yet. Last night sometime between 1-3 Wyatt threw up 3 times. Each pile getting smaller. Mostly foam and a few small bone chunks but nothing sharp. This morning before I left for work around 6:50 he threw up 2 more times, this time is had a slight odor and also had a few specks of blood. Maybe 2-3 very small specks in each pile. I fed him his breakfast and he ate fine. Im thinking maybe the blood was stress from throwing up so much or he had gotten scratched from the bone. I already had a vet appointment scheduled for today bc I found a lump (thinking fatty cyst). Has shrunk in size since i called. He goes in at 5:15. I was just curious when we go today which I'm def going to address this blood issue what types of tests should I ask for or be warned against that are pointless. I'm also meeting the new vet today. Thanks guys... Solo worried about my little man!

I would take him to the vet as it sounds like maybe a blockage or perforation ...

Blood is not a good sign

Reading further I would be interested in what an X-ray says and go from there. The vet should know what to do.

I hope he is ok!

At this point if he is eating and going to the bathroom without incident I would not consider having any type of x-rays or testing done. You are probably correct, it is most likely from him vomiting multiple times throughout the evening.

I would just keep an eye on him.

Thanks Kari, your words are always reassuring! For some reason I trust you more than vets! Ha ha ha!!! I'm going to ask about his runny nose too!!! I really jinxed myself on the 19th when he got shots saying, see you guys in a year! Never again will I say that!!!

Well if you are on the bf fb page you will see what happened! For no answers except the lump maybe possibly could be an insect bite.... Wtf????!!!!!! Didn't care about anything else,' whatever.... Makes me so mad!!!!! He seems fine now, I'll just keep close watch on him, if anything changes ill go to the family dogs vet!
