Default Photos of Bot Fly Larvea removed from dogs/cats *Warning*

These are Bot Fly larvea that have been removed from dogs and cats. *We generally remove these from cats and kittens. *It is amazing how large they can get under the skin.....A good reminder to keep the flys away during the summer....

No not house flies...but alot of the ones that are outside....there are many various types of Bot Flies....Regular, Human, Horse....they are basically the biting flies that strike on dogs ears and bodies outside.....

OK, I'm now offically freaking out. Paco sometimes gets bit by flies outside in the yard. Usually presents with a welt a little smaller than a dime and it's gone next day. Is that how those disgusting larvea get under the skin? I bought some fly trap but I'm gonna go out and buy more NOW. Thanks for the warning Sharon.
