Default swollen jowell (sp)

Gus, our 7 mo. old boxer just came in from outside and his jowell on one side was swollen. He doesn't act like it is bothering him, but I have seen a few bees in the backyard. Should we just watch him or go ahead and give him some Benadryl?

Thanks

I dont think it would hurt to give him some benedryl. Prob *just a bee sting or a bite but Id watch him cos he could be allergic!

I would give him one just to be on the safe side.

Thanks for the input, we put some ice in his water bowl, he buried his face in it, it was actually kinda funny watching him. Anyway the swelling started going down pretty soon, and this morning it was pretty much back to normal.

Thanks again!!
