Default glucosamine "Joint Juice'??????

While I was shopping for our Memorial Day BBQ I saw a clearance price tag (I can't resist looking!!) for a glucosamine product for humans call Joint Juice. Regular price is outrageous $7.97 for 4 - 16 oz bottles, clearance price $2.47.
I debated for quite awhile since it only came in Lemon or Berry flavors. We're giving glucosamine/msm tabs but I thought this would be something to try. 1500mg glucosamine pr 16 oz and I divided it between all 3 dogs. I almost fell over when all three drank it right down. I've read the ingredients several times and there isn't anything in it that concerns me.( low Sugar or and normal additives)
But Berry flavored??????Who'da thought????? I'm thinking of running out and buying a case while it's on clearance, my idea being that Comet can use the extra, but is there such a thing as too much glucosamine????
Am I just being a compulsive clearance shopper?????

So from what i'm reading, it won't hurt to give more, but that doesn't mean more will be better as far as relieving pain...

Ok so Lori, a 16 oz bottle has 1500mg, so if you divide that by 3 each dog is getting roughly 500 mg, so in that case it wouldn't be too much

when i used to jog a lot i used it religiously. i could tell a major difference in my leg joints after i had them in my system.

if you do buy any, go to your local health store and just get pure glucosamine, or glucosamine w/ condroitin. all the over the counter stuff at walmart and other stores are usually crap will all sorts of fillers. check the bottle's ingredients and there should only be maybe one or two other things there if its a gelcap or coated pill, and if its not then there shouldnt be anything else on the label.

*edit... like a dummy i didnt read your whole topic thread and just answered what i thought you were gonna ask *
