Default Oh No! Is that a pimple on my face?

I'm hoping this is only a pimple on my teenager Gracie. Anyone ever see such a thing on their pup? It is on her chin. I have heard of dogs also getting these.

If it is one, she's hoping it'll clear up by the prom.

I'm not a vet or vet tech but it looks like a scrape or she got it caught on something. I am sorry she got hurt.

Oh Gracie-Face! Don't you worry, mom will put a little bit of rubbing alcohol on that and it'll clear right up!

Rally had BRUTAL acne at about 7 months. On her chin, lips and eyelids. Rubbing alcohol and polysporin.

Could be a scratch or acne.
It doesn't look serious.
Are you using stainless steel dishes for her food and water?
Plastic ones can contribute to acne.

She eats out of ceramic bowls.
At closer inspection it appears like one of those headless cystic pimple. I'll leave it alone and let it resolve itself. She loves chewing and playing with this Nylabone and I bet it irritates it.

We'll be doing facials tonight...lol!

Ceramic bowls can also harbour bacteria. Stainless is the way to go. Not as pretty, but easier to sanitize.

Hoss started to concern me cause he had a bunch of those at one point. I started washing his face with antibacterial soap every night, and they went away. I never knew what it was, but he has no issues now. Hope Gracie's clear up as well!
