Tyson just received his 3rd of 5 CCNU treatments. He is doing fantastic! He has been in remission since 3 days after he started. His bloodwork has looked completely normal and he looks amazingly healthy for a dog with cancer. We had a truly blessed Christmas with him and got a lot of great pictures and made good memories. Its hard to believe that he actually has cancer and that it will eventually come back

but we are enjoying each and every day we have with him.

Thats wonderful news! I'm so very happy to hear the bloodwork has/is good because CCNU can cause such havoc with the liver as what happened with Gouda. Enjoy all the time you have left and love him to pieces!

I havent posted in a while.....but Tyson passed away March 26th. I am so thankful to everyone who offered suppot throughout our journey. There is a giant hole in my heart that cannot be filled. About a month after Tyson passed, we were delighted to bring home a new baby boxer. Tysons middle name was Maxwell, and that is also what the new baby is named. He will carry on his brothers name forever.

I am so sorry to hear about Tyson. I often wonder what happens to the dogs people post about - we are like one big, extended family here. I appreciate you letting us know. May he rest in peace.

Congratulations on the acquisition of Maxwell! I would love to hear more about him and see some pics. Hope you'll hang around and share.
