I'm so sorry to hear about your loss!!! Thank you for sharing such a tragic story!! We can all learn from this... My puppy has swallowed a few squeakers (and vomited them up)... So I have been much more careful!!! Sad boxer face, yes, but I am so scared of something getting lodged... And reading your sad story reassures me that it is not worth the possibilities of what can happen!!!

Again, I'm so sorry and saddened to ear about Laila...

So very sorry. I wish they found the cause sooner, but she knows you tried diligently to get her better.

I would like to thank you all for the outreach of support, I truly feel the warmth and know you all understand the pain I am going through and the loss of my little angel Laila.
I can not begin to tell you how I am kicking myself for not being able to read the obvious signs my girl was trying to tell and show me, I now understand (hind sight being 20/20). I want to share my observations here so Laila's passing can have some sense of purpose, if our experience can save but one dog.
Those stupid squeaking toys were her joy, but so not worth the risk......
She was such a playful, happy and energetic little girl, who has broken my heart.
I joined this site to read and learn from others who have gained experience and understand of this wonderful breed, I can not believe that less than one week after I joined I am one who wants to share with you all what I learned from my experience. I will put together what I believe are the signs I did not catch in time.
The outpour of support is just so uplifting, Bless you all for the kind words and warmth you have expressed for Laila, me and my family Thank you all.
