I don't stick the Qtips into his ears, just to reach the visible areas where my fingers don't quite reach very well (I have short fingers! lol). I would never stick a Qtip right in there! lol

hmmm... wondering if he has an ear infection then...

Booked a vet appt for tomorrow morning. He's still scratching at his ears so we may as well get it checked out and rule our an ear infection if that's not it.

Do ear flushes of Apple Cider Vinegar and warm water (50/50 mix) twice a day for the first week, then once a day the next week then every few days afterwards. The smell and gunkiness if yeast build up. The ACV is antibacterial and antifungal so it will take care of any issues.

By flushing I mean fill the entire ear canal and massage until you her a sloppy nose for 30 sec. Then let him shake his head to remove excess water and use a paper towel to dry out the ear the best you can.
