I don't know if Horatio is just marking his territory(we just moved into a new apartment), if his bladder infection came back or if something else is going on but he is peeing uncontrollably. Today for example, I took him outside. He peed and we came back in. My friends and I started playing a game and about 20 minutes later he peed all over the house but he walks around while he's peeing. He actually peed on all my friends!!! So I cleaned it up, let him out again and we went into a different room and restarted our game. About 20 minutes later he walked a circle around my bed, peeing all over agian! So again, I cleaned it up and took him outside and he peed some more. Then we came back in, played some more games and then as they were leaving, he went under our new table and peed. Is this marking? You can tell he knows he shouldn't be peeing in the house but I dunno if he's just being defiant or can't help himself. I'm going to call the vet tomorrow but I wanted other opinions. If he is marking and I get him neutered in the next week or so, will that help it? Thank you!

Riley used to do that a lot. He had incontinence issues that we were never able to figure out. He never had a UTI, he had bloodwork done, urinalysis, and even ultrasounds to rule out any tumors. Everything checked out fine except his urine was diluted, but again they were never able to figure out why. I know what you mean about them knowing they shouldn't be going in the house. With Riley he always had a guitly face when it happened, but I think with him it was more of an embarrassment than a look of spite if that makes sense. I knew he wasn't doing it deliberately.
Anyway, I'm glad you're calling the vet. That would be my first suggestion. I hope he gets back to normal fast!

by your description I can only suggest you take him to the vet; sounds like he can't help himself; sounds like an UTI

Update on Horatio:
I took a urine sample into the vet just to be safe. His urine was 100% normal. Last time it was EXTREMELY diluted so they were happy to see this normal urine. So there's a yay! She said there was sperm in his urine so that means he's hit sexual maturity and he's more than likely just marking. She believes the reason he doesn't just dribble for a mark is because he is a guzzler and he has an excess of water in his belly. LOL. So on December 5th, Horatio will lose his manhood! Hopefully that helps! Thank you everyone for your advice and opinions |

Yeah the vet said basically all I can do with marking is get rid of his manhood and be firm and fair and treat him as an unpotty trained dog. Horatio is 8 and a half months old. My lil man is growing up so fast. LOL. I keep telling him on December 5th he's gonna be nutless....
