Aspen had a lump on the inside of her back leg last year. It was about the size of a quarter and sort of looked like a spider bite or something, but it wasn't itchy at all and didn't seem to bother her, but also wouldn't go away. She had it for over a week, so I took her to the vet and they aspirated it. They said that there were cells in it that they couldn't identify, and due to the high risk of cancer in boxers, they recommend we take the lump off just to be on the safe side. So we took the lump off and sent it off for pathology. $400 later I found out she had a bug bite of some sort! Oh well, better to be safe than sorry! And yay for pet insurance!
