Meet Stella, The Goosie's foster sis. Stella was rescued from Santa Barbara by Blue Lion rescue of Colorado. Many angels came together to make this possible today. She has Demodex and a Grade 4/5 Heart Murmur. She is absolutely gorgeous & Gracie seems smitten by her.

They played just a bit, but due to the heart murmur, mommy had to cut playtime short. Question: How much playtime can this baby get? Gracie is crying because she wants to play and play and play...and mommy is being a kill joy.

How long are you fostering her ?
Is she on any meds for her heart murmur?
I tried googling for info on how much exercise was okay, but most of the stuff I found said to "consult your vet" - not much help
I did find that it said to watch for signs like breathing difficulties, coughing, and a blue tinge to the lips,gums or tongue.
Also found that you should limit sodium.

Thanks so much Lynne. She is on Ivermectin for her mange, Keflex & FortiFlora. So nothing for the heart murmur.

She will stay with us until Wednesday and then Blue Lion Rescue is transporting her along with other rescue dogs to Colorado.

I gotta say, I love this girl already. She has been through so much. And my crazy girl Gracie Goose has been such a good foster sis. They love to play but I have to cut it short and be a killjoy.
