Big lump on Jaxon's leg - Page 2

I had two ganglion cysts removed from my wrist about 7-8 years ago one was right on a nerve and was affecting my daily life. A few years ago I started to have another one grow. It comes and goes, somedays bothers me and some days it's nonexistent. I'd take a pic but it would prob be hard to see. Does it fill like a fluid filled sac or is it hard?

Reminds me of a bone splint. Horses get them from impact injuries, thats why its very important to have proper boots on them when riding. They are a hard lump that feels like a bone deposit.

His is firm but not hard like a rock. Not squishy either. It moves slightly when you push on it but it is attached to something inside.

I would get a biopsy done on it. How old is Jax?

Well that makes me feel better. The location made me worry osteosarcoma but if it isnt hard as a rock thats good

It could also be a tendon sheath cyst. (similar to ganglion cyst) It would make sense that it is not very mobile.

Let us know what your vet thinks.
