I just got some angel eyes for Quinn. She never had ANY tear staining until she got spayed. Two days later and the staining started. Any connection there? Haven't used the angel eyes yet, any thoughts on it? It is horribly expensive!!

Angel Eyes contains tylosin tartrate - which is basically an antibiotic.
It purportedly does work for tear stains, but you would need to use it daily or the tear stains will come back. I personally wouldn't use it because I don't believe being on antibiotics long term is a good idea, even if it's a low dose. I believe Angel Eyes is banned in some countries (UK being one of them) |
