OMG yes thank you for saving her! Like Cait said, I would definitely take her to a vet to have her checked! The thought of gluing scares me too... Maybe the vet can put in some staples or something? I'm not even sure if that's possible at this point but it wouldn't hurt to ask!

She has perked up a lot since yesterday. She's exploring beyond the couch. So plus one on that side. She hasn't thrown up today. I want to see what a vet says. She very responsive and very intrigued with the house. Now it's getting the rat terrier to stap being territorial. They will learn. The boxer who I have named brendle, is looking a lot better today. Thanks everyone for all your help! If I have not concerns I will post. If anyone has any more advice please please please post! Any help is help to me!

Nikki didn't appear to have stitches either, they were inside. I was amazed at the great job!
I am also disgusted these shelters adopt the day they are spayed. I tried to rescue a boxer in buffalo an same thing. I had to go down there and pay for the spay then come back the next day to pick her up!! Someone was adopting her while I was talking to the shelter about her though. I still can't believe they operate like that! Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App |

Our westie mix, Maddie, had a spay that used glue, too, and it worked great! Just keep your dog very quiet, and she'll be fine. I'd get her on a better food, as well. A better food may cost more, but you feed less of it b/c it's more nutrient dense. Boxers don't tend to do well on a kibble with grain in it. I'd suggest a grain free kibble: Acana, Taste of the Wild, Wellness, or Fromm. When you switch kibbles, do it slowly (2 weeks or more) to avoid tummy upset. Boxers are famous for sensitive tummies.
