Yes I'm so relieved. I hope the doggy gods are good to me and have this benign and no more come about. I get sooooo attached to my pets just like all of you and can't imagine their life taken so quickly. Thanks for the prayers. Send as much as u can! We have surgery than the results next week. Going to be a little stressed but not as bad as today. I can sleep somewhat Well tonight. Have a good night boxer friends.

Thank You Thank You. I think we are making the best choice for Bolt. If it was me I would want my parent to do the best for me. He is such an amazing dog! I'm praying its benign as well. Lets all pray for a fast speedy recovery and benign vibes and spirits coming my way

Yes I am hoping and praying as well. Now yesterday, my other young boxer Diesels upper canine broke i half and he was salivating all day but seemed fine, ate fine, drank water played. I didnt know what was wrong until later around dinner time the salivating that was clear starting to turn pink for a few minutes. he must have bit down on it because it bled for a few minutes. not much at all. maybe about 2-5 minutes the salivating was a light pink. We can tell cause our tile is a light tan. but he seems fine. I called the vet after hours and they said to watch it and make sure he eats and drinks because if he doesnt than he would need to come in and get it removed because that means he is in alot of pain. we are going to take him with us on tuesday when we drop bolt off for surgery, the vet on call said just let them take a look at it and make sure its not anything really bad. i think it broke right at the very very tip of the pulp which sucks cause i know he's hurting (i use to be a dental assistant and pulp showing hurts bad) and i'm sure we will have to get it removed. Ugh. It's always something huh! here is a pic of his tooth:

Yes please hope and pray B9! He will be getting surgery around 9am tuesday morning. we r hoping that when she looks at it that it is nothing bad. if she wants to send it off i'm definitely for it. i think it takes a week for the results to come back?! that might be the longest week of my life. My dogs are my life. Without one i will be miserable. They love you unconditionally. B9 B9 B9 B9

Surgery is tomorrow at 8am. im glad he is getting this out. it doesnt bother him still and it hasn't got any bigger but i just wanted to put this on here because i finally got a picture of it while he is sleeping.
anyone had anything like this? i'm trying to get prepared for what the vet will tell me. i'm crossing my finger that it isn't bad. Ugh. I can't handle anything else bad.

So We are back home and Bolt is sleeping on and off. He is very very swollen, around the incision is very hard and he is oozing and bleeding every now and than. under his chin is soft swollen, and than on the side of his face is hard swollen. I feel so horrible for him. He seems so helpless. The vet said she definitely wanted to send the lump off. I asked the vet tech what it looked like and she said it was a hard lump than another lump attached to it and had blood vessels in it. God I hope that isn't bad. So they are sending it off tomorrow and should hear something by 2-3 days after it is sent off. These are going to be the longest 3 days of my life.
Right when bolt saw us he was happy to see us, his tail was wagging a little and came straight to me and put his head into my chest, i was knealing down. i immediately started to cry because they had this bandage wrapped all around his head with so much gauze over the incision. The vet came in and told us that when he woke up, he immediately took his back paw and went to itch the area and opened one of the ties and it started bleeding so she had to resuture and put gauze on him. it got more swollen than usual so we have to keep an extra eye on it. We have to bring him back in 3 days to get the gauze and wrap removed, which is just a normal wrap. He hated being in the truck going home, he didn't know to sit, lay down, stand. I went into the back seat to help him feel comfortable, he just seemed so helpless. I felt so bad. We got pain meds and antibiotics for him.
Diesel, our other Boxer that got his tooth extracted is fine. He is a little groggy but looks normal. I'm glad he isn't bad too, I wouldn't beable to handle 2 dogs right now, 1 is enough. I've been searching online about lumps in dogs that had blood vessels in it. Alot of searches are coming up with "benign tumors in dogs" so im hoping its the truth. we asked the vet if it was on the lymph node and she said it was hard to tell because of how swollen and compact everything was in there. it was like it was right in the middle of everything. so Friday is Doomsday. God pray he will be ok and it is just a cyst. Here is the only picture i could get. I really didnt care to even take one but i figured maybe you guys will understand and relate to what i'm going through with your stories.
