Okay, quick update.
Came home yesterday after work and he had puked up the chicken broth along with a bunch of grass and twig-like pieces. My house smelled wonderful ....Cleaned everything up and washed all his crate blankets. Took him for a walk and he pooped! Twice. It was extremely gross; really really stinky; just this horrendous smell. It was like something died and came out of his tush.... I offered him some warmed up chicken broth and he again drank most of it. He was a little mopey but had lots of wiggles for when my husband came home. I cooked him up some rice and ground beef last night but didn't give him any. Tried it this morning and it seemed to go down okay. He did still have a very gurguly tummy so I'll have to see when I get home if he's kept it down or not. I think we're at the tail end of whatever this is. With the combination of the stinky poop and the twigs and grass, I'm pretty sure he's got whatever it is out of his system. He's gotten tons of smooches and cuddles and he's enjoying every minute of it! I'm glad it wasn't something more serious! Bosley says thank you for all the extra smooches |
