Best wishes! Hopefully it will be nothing too serious and manageable. Fingers crossed!

Paws crossed that the appointment goes well and it is something that can be managed with the right meds.
Keep us posted.

UPDATE: We have just returned from our cardiologist appointment- with far too many unknowns and really no reassurance or answers what so ever.
Boss had an ultra sound done.. Which might I add he was extremely well behaved and just laid there like a good little boy . We were told that his heart/heart beat/structure were in all normal conditions. He could not find anything via ultra sound. I thought he was going to do an ECG- aparantly not. The next step is to be put in a holter for 24 hours only problem is they don't have any the equipment available where we live and so we are waiting to hear from a specialist out of town to see when they can transfer the holter jacket to our clinic. They are tellin us in a week or 2 which seems like a life time to me. When he wears this they are checking for "boxer arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy" as apparently this is the only other heart condition that he could have (everything else is ruled out). Now my concerns here are the following- they are saying that to pick anything up that he would have to have one if his "fainting spells" during the holter process to then find out what is causing it.. Well, I don't know if that is going to happen.. is there no other way of checking for this condition?? Also he is saying that if he does have this condition, depending on the frequency there really are no medicines that would help him (if frequency is high then he can get meds, otherwise there is nothing). My other concern is.. I am doing research on this condition and it is breaking my heart!!- sudden death, exercise restrictions, shortened life span (a year if that). I know I can't jump to conclusions but I am freaking out here. If this holter doesn't pick anything up then we have to go back in 6months to have a second ultra sound.
Next-- he said if it is not his heart, then it could be a neurological problem. He says that this would be a better outcome as less threatening and more medical treatments. One possibility he said was epilepsy- however, If this was the case would he not have had seizures? Having said that he said just in the brain alone there are over hundred different possible problems which are causing this.. Not to mention other none-neurological issues like cancer etc. he told us that he has seen many boxers before but NONE as a puppy like boss. :'(
I don't know what to think. He taught us what to do if it were to happen again n he stopped breathing.. Or if his heart stopped. I am so worried and frustrated that I have no answers. I dont know if i should stop walking him, restrict his playing?? Has anyone else had experience with boxer arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy??
I need some answers please!!
Thank you for your time and concern everyone.
Ps. Also to those who have used the holter how much did it cost (not to be nosey)- just curious to compare. They told us it would be about 150-200 dollars for 24hour monitoring.

Sending you great big hugs & I will be keeping you in my prayers. I have never had to go through anything like this so I don't even know what to tell you. I will tell you this, I myself have had 2 fainting spells to which they couldn't find anything to be wrong (I had a ton of tests done). It was noted that before I fainted, I would just stare off into space with a complete blank look. That has been proven to be a seizure. I'm not being treated with any meds as I've had 2 like that & there has been no rhyme & reason to them. Did you happen to notice if he was acting different before he fainted?? Again, I'm keeping you & him in my prayers. (((HUGS)))
