I didnt take your post as criticism. I just want to to think I was telling you to put Abby on anything so strong

Hopefully she was just irritated by the laundry soap! Maybe it will be clear tomorrow and you won't have to worry about the vet :-)

No, unfortunately we had to run some enexpected errands last night and I didn't have time to wash everything. I have it all ready to go tonight though.

Was hoping that was the problem when you said they were less red today. How are they looking this evening?? Hopefully they are continuing to look better.

They're looking quite a bit better tonight. Still a little red, but they don't look as irritated. I've seen her scratching her neck here and there. I'm not sure if her collar is irritating her or if she's aiming for her ears. Unless her ears are completely healed up by Thurs we'll still be taking her in, but it does look like she's going in the right direction.

I haven't been treating her ears directly since Saturday night. Instead I've been putting some AVC in her drinking water and giving her some coconut oil with her meals. Maybe getting those interally into her system are helping?

Here are pics from tonight.

They are looking better. Maybe they needed to be added internally. Hopefully they continue to improve.

I'd try taking her collar off. We found that Dempsey can't tolerate a collar of any kind. In his case, he scratched his neck area almost raw.

They do look a lot better Mandy! Have you omitted the beef from her diet?

Not yet. I'm trying to wash all of the bedding first to see if that does anything. Everything's all clean and fresh now so we'll see how it goes. She did have some beef for dinner tonight.

Yeah, that's best. One step at a time. I know when trying to figure out my nephews allergies, (actually thought he had an eating disorder at age one), it's like he knew what he was allergic to. Whey, milk protein and something else. They called it a sensitivity by nonetheless he wouldn't touch/eat anything with milk product in it. Luckily he's fine now in moderation. He also never wanted peanut butter, turns out he has a nut allergy which we found out about the hard way! He so bad with nuts he didn't even eat them, but ate something that nuts had touched and went into shock! I know how scary it can be when something's wrong and you can't/don't know what to do about it! Hopefully the detergent is the factor and you can all rest easy! What do your parents think?
