My Lucy's ears get so dirty and i'm not sure how to clean them for now i've been using ear wash from petsmart and some cotton pads to wipe out her ears, but they seem to be full of dirt in a day or two. How do you clean your boxers ears? She is my first boxer and i'm clueless as to how to clean them properly. Lucy hates having her ears cleaned!
do you have any ideas how to manage her while getting her ears cleaned?

Bailey had some very dark wax in her ears that looked almost like mud...I had been cleaning them with Qtips and zymox ear wash for a few weeks but it would just keep coming back. On a completely unrelated trip to the vet, she noticed the dirty ears and said it may be the start of an ear infection...we bought Zymox OTIC solution to put in her ears and theyve been squeaky clean ever since
