Small growth on ear...

Hi All,

Cruz has a small growth on his ear. We thought it was a scab from playing at the off leash, but it hasn't fallen off and it's been over a week... maybe even 2 weeks. It kinda looks like a skin tag, but I don't know, so I just thought I'd post a pic (highlighted the "growth") to see if anyone has seen this on their dog and if i should be concerned..

Even though you highlighted it, your pic is too dark for to get a good look at it.
Can you take a pic in better lighting? Or a bit different angle?
Just looks like a scab in that pic.

Valant has a dozen of those...on paws,ear,top of head,jowls...

Vet said its old dog stuff

Gracie had the same thing on her cheek last year and it was ripped off while playing rough with one of her pals. It never grew back. She has another one on her ear presently, right at the tip. It's a skin tag and very common. I would have the Vet look at it just case and to put your mind at ease.

Doesn't really look like a skin tag to me.
I would have the vet check it out just to be safe.

That's exactly how the growth on her cheek looked.

That doesnt look like a skin tag to me unless it got scraped or pulled off. Gouda had lots of skin tags but they didnt look like that. I would have it checked out to be safe.

It actually did get knocked\scraped off a bit between the two pictures. Probably fell of while he was playing at the off leash. I`ll get it checked anyway.
