Ok everyone, Bevo went to the vet on the 27 of Dec. and got a cortisone shot. We changed his food from BB Wilderness to BB Basics Turkey and Potato. He stopped scratching and all seemed good good till a few days ago and he started scratching again. Every day he seems to get worse and worse. Now he's all scabbed up again and kind of swollen under front leg

The cortisone shot made him feel better. Once it wore off the problem came back.
You need to figure out the cause. Could be the food, could be environmental. How old is he? When did the problem first start? . |

He is 5 months old and pretty much started when we put Christmas tree up. The tree has been down since day after Christmas. He was eating BB Wilderness from 6 weeks old when we got him. His poop seems to be more solid with the BB Basics never was runny on the wilderness just more solid now. We did put down Bamboo floors on Nov 11. Sure hope he's not allergic to that

Is the protein source in the BB Wilderness and the BB Basics the same?
If so, try changing to a food with a different protein source. Are both of those foods grain free? Hope it's not your new floors- that would suck. |
