Default Horatio update...

We just went to the vet... Quicker than I anticipated but he got real sick last night and it was progressively worse today... He got diarrhea really bad. I knew what was causing it but the pepto wasn't helping and it was getting nastier and nastier looking. So we went in. Vet agreed it was caused by the half a box of mac n cheese he got ahold of and he also cleaned up some of my roommates sickness from her having the flu... Soooo gross. LOL. They did a fecal test and said everything looks normal so put him on metronizadole(sp?). They gave me extra too cuz I told them with Keenyah, this is a common occurance. They also did a few pee tests. They said his bladder feels great. THey don't feel any stones or blockages. They examined the results from all his previous urinalysis. I am goig to take in a urine sample again and they are going to test for crystals to see if its that but the vet really doesn't think so. He also doesn't think it is Reflex Dyssenergia. He said that typically wouldn't come in this mild of a form and like my friend said, it would have triggers like excersice and this isn't the case with Horatio. What he actually believes is going on is that his prostate is probably inflamed. They said it is very common in unneutered males and if we neuter him it will cure that problem. So we're going to get him neutered sooner rather than later, I guess. So good news all around for Horatio.

That's what I thought. It works the same in human males too. The gland swells I mean and causes urination problems not the neutering LOL
