I'm a little concerned about my 8 week old's right eye. We just got him Christmas Eve, and I noticed in the corner of his right eye, his eyelid (or something. It's a thin milky white..something. Yeah, clearly I'm not well versed on puppy parts) is covering a portion of his eye, so he sort of looks cockeyed. It doesn't appear to be inflamed, red etc, nor does it bother him. I don't know if this is some precursor to cherry eye or something, or if it's common and will go away no it's own. I'm including a picture that I HOPE illustrates what I'm talking about, it's hard getting a still shot of this dog!

Lynne nailed it. Your puppy just has an unpigmented haw. Normal and nothing to worry about.

Thanks guys! We had a vet visit today anyway, so I mentioned it and they said 3rd eyelid, but we need to monitor it since they're prone to cherry eye, but aside from his ear infection, he's perfectly healthy! Pretty obvious I haven't owner a dog (let alone PUPPY) in over a decade!
