Spreading elbow rash?
Hope everyone had a great Christmas and looking forward to New Years! Quick question, Buddha seems to have developed a rash on his elbows .. At first it just looked red but over the past few days it has spread up to his arm pit and down his leg, there is even a little bit in his nose. It is raised and there are also little bumps (mosquito like) surrounding it (mainly on his chest and arm pits). It does not seem to bother him or itch. Any ideas? I have attached some pictures - sorry for the bad quality- impossible to keep the boy still! Also we were at the vet yesterday and she told me that it is just his elbow and what it is suppose to look like- I find that hard to believe- he has never had elbows like this.

Is it on both elbows and armpits? No offense but I think that Vet was rather dismissive even if at the time it was on the elbow only. I dont have any answers perhaps someone else will be able to help. If it were me I would take him back to the Vet.

We have to go back to vet tomorrow so boss can have his rabies injection so I think I am going to take Buddha with me too and have another vet heck him out. No offense taken at all.. I completely agree! It is on both elbows and both armpits and spreading down back of legs (arms).

Aww that poor baby! I hope when you see a different Vet he/she will not be as dismissive and actually find out whats wrong. Keep us posted!

My white boxer had something similar, our vet said it was an allergic reaction to either grass or fleas and have her prednisone! Don't know if this help you, but worth checking into!
