Good morning everyone.
My 4 month old Boxer started acting sick yesterday. My husband and I went on vacation for a week and our little guy stayed with my parents. My mom said he got into one of her flower arrangements, that had baby's breath. After doing a little research, I found that baby's breath is toxic to dogs and causes vomiting and diarrhea. Our Boxer has just been laying down and sleeping. He won't eat or drink anything. Does ANYONE know of anything I can give him to help him flush it out, or make his tummy feel better? Any advice would be helpful! Our vet isn't open until Wednesday, so I'm sort of panicking! Thanks. |

If you think he may have gotten into a toxin even if its just a flower you need to get him to a Vet even if that means taking him to another Vet and even out of town.
My best friend is going through kidney failure with her cat because he chewed on an Easter Lilly its not something to mess with! He really needs to go ASAP. Keep us posted!

We took him to the vet this morning. We were lucky enough to get him in with a cancellation. Unfortunately, our baby tested positive for Parvo. He was up to date on all his shots, so it was surprising. He is being hospitalized for 3 days to a week depending on how fast he recovers. I'm hoping he pulls through. Thanks for everyone's concern.
