So sorry about Maggie.....I just wonder if that is not where Sophie is at...without knowing for sure that lymph node is cancer it is so hard...but with all that is going on I think we ave an issue with the calcium issue or it is cancer....without knowing for sure it is hard. If it is cancer I would know to seek treatment or make her as comfortable as possible. I love boxers, they are such a heartwarming, caring and silly. Oh how they know to be silly when you need to smile and cuddle when you are sick.

Im so sorry you are going through this it must be hard not knowing. Prednisone would increase her appetite and make her feel better. I guess the Vet is waiting to see if the antibiotics will help

Thank you so much for everyone's suggestions and input! I love boxers so much! I did get a can of purine one in her, I put it in a less deep pan and held it up higher for her to eat.....she did attempt to vomit but only very thick phlegm came up....no food,but she is acting like she has a belly ache again. I only gave her 1/2 can at a time....I tried to get her to play a bit and started gagging....had to stop the play time.....again, so very much appreciate everyone!

I would stop trying to feed her and have her ultra sounded again. Something just doesnt sound right. For now to help settle her tummy you can boil a pound of beef liver in 4 cups of water and let her drink the broth once it has cool. It will give her calories, vitamins and minerals without upsetting her tummy. If she is a rock eater she may have ingested more rocks or something else entirely. Not everything shows up on ultrasound or x-rays.

Thank you .....I will! She throws the rocks up in the air and catches them when she is bored outside.....needless to say I am not letting her spend a lot of time outside! I will try your suggestion on the feeding.... Thanks!

I took Sophie back to vet and she thinks she feels a mass back by her tonsils......they are sedating her to get a better look. She wants to eat so bad, but just won't.
