Hi all. I'm new to this forum so here goes. My best friend is a 6 year old brindle male. He is in great health. However while trimming his nails I noticed a bump on his leg. It's very soft and isn't losing hair. It doesn't appear to hurt him at all. I'm ready to rush him to the vet. Has anyone else had any experience with something like this. I have another boxer also and she doesn't have any lumps so my big guy is worrying me. Any help is appreciated.

I am no vet, nor trained in any way and I don't mean to scare you. But that's how it started with my last male. A little lump, and that lump ended up being cancer. Early detection is key and take him to a vet asap. Always better safe then sorry

My mo had a lump on his leg. It appeared overnight. I thought it might be an insect sting. It did not go away after several days. It was soft too and not losing hair. The bet aspirated it and it was unfortunately malignant. The good news was it was removed with surgery and it was fine. No spreading. He lived many years after its removal to the age of 12. Is get it checked out. If is just a fatty mass at least you'll know.
