Heartworm meds etc

I'm looking for the best meds to give my dogs. Where I live and ride my pups frequently get ticks plus I need to get them on heartworm meds for the summer.

We use HeartGuard. It's what our vet suggested.

I love Heartgard. My dogs love Heartgard and the chewable tablet comes w monthly wormer. I would recc this as well. It does not take care of ticks or fleas but I'm not too crazy about giving all those chemicals systemically. Yes the ones u put on their skin bind to the skin and hair and yes they are still chemicals, but at least they aren't ingesting the chemicals
