Today has been a particularly stressful day at work. Two shipments we were expecting did not arrive and an 8 hour shift turned into a 10 hour and a fight to find someone to cover for another girl. When I was finally done i walked a half hour home, fed the dogs and pottied them. My hubby had just left for work and did not make supper. I decide I need a nice hot bubble bath to relax before supper.
So, I go upstairs and run a nice hot bath complete with my favourite oils and fizzies, light a few candles and give the dogs each a bully stick. No sooner do I settle in and shut out the world do I hear a herd of elephants thundering up the stairs followed immediately by a loud crash into the bathroom door. Quietly *whimper* *whimper* Scratch Scratch Louder *WHIMPER* *WHIMPER* SCRATCH SCRATCH "Ah WOOOOOOOOOO" grumbles "WOOOOOO-WOOOOOOOOOOO" Maybe I should let them in? They probably just want to see me. So, I open the door. They lumber in and proceed to stare at me, their are are saying "The smells pretty tasty... mind if I try a little bit?" Rally disappears. Octane continues to stare, you can hear in feet dancing on the tile and him smacking his lips. Rally flies into the bathroom and drops a 6 inch doggy soccerball into the tub which obvious make a splash. Octane takes this as an invitation to drink some of the water. Rally tries to climb in. I pull the plug. Here I am one boxer sleeping on my legs one tucked under my arm. I had a cheese whiz sandwich for supper and may never have a bubble bath again. Would I have it any other way? Not in this life! |

That's a GREAT story!!!!
No matter how crappy my day at work is, when I get home and see two kidney beaners doing their dance and getting big slobbery kisses from them, it's all good again!!!! They are always the highlight of my day!!! |

I have to say I was feeling pretty frustrated. But, the second the ball landed in the tub I had to laugh. I love them and their goofy little noises and their need to constantly be near me.

I feel bad those days where I'm so made and they wont leave me alone I yell and then they give me that big kiss across my face that's telling me "Shut up and love me!" and I do! lol
they really are a gift from God. |
