Aww, us ladies love our fur babies so much and only want the best for them. Not saying the guys out there don't. But just like with skin kids, moms are the researchers, take to the doc, sometimes bad guys and dads are the lets wrestle and knock over a lamp in the process and not tell mom! My ex made fun of me being on the forum, but Wyatt being my first boxer I had NO clue what i was up against when I became a "single fur baby mom"! The ladies and yes the gentlemen here have helped me and comforted me and cheered me on the past 4 months! Hell we were even voted in as December boxer of the month! Thanks ladies... And gents!

I wouldn't say that there are more female boxer owners (although maybe there are) but there are definately more females on this forum. I guess women like to chat about their babies more than men.

Hmmmm, I don't think that women outnumber men here because they have more time. I think I have less. I own a business and work full time (with my husband-God help me) and when I get home, I am doing the laundry, picking the clothes up off the floor, feed and walk the dog, cleaning the kitchen...(I could go on and on) but now since we have Porter in school, we have homework. Does my husband do any of it-NOOOOOOO! I think women are just by nature more comunicative.
By the way....shout out to hubby- he enjoys cooking and does about 90%-95% of it.

<<<<---Yes, I am female. I do tend to be more caring, helpful & the one raising the kids (skin & fur). But at the same time, if you make me mad...I will be your worst enemy. My husband blames that on the fact that I am Italian. Pheona & Murphy are my first boxer babies & I have found that this group ROCKS!!! Always someone there to give you advice, let you know things will be okay & even when you need to worry a bit. Being a military wife, I have learned over the years most of my friends are online. It makes it nice as they don't move away from me & also I like having non-military friends.

Maybe it's like the "asking for directions" thing. More women are apt to look for advice from others and to share while men try to handle things for themselves.
I don't know but I will tell you that the men on here are just as caring about their babies! |

As for why there are more women on here... I don't know. Do we have more time? Doubtful! Are we able to multitask better? Probably! lol |
