I hope you dont find this intrusive, but I read your post from 3/2011 about a boy you lost due to cancer of the prostate, and I was hoping I could ask you some questions.

I'm a veterinarian practicing in New York, and I have recently seen 5 male Boxers in the same age range who developed an atypical tumor of the prostate. I have AKC records for 3 of them, and all 3 have 1 common ancestor.

what had happened to Gus now re the meningites? I have a one year old boxer who has been on pred for ths same thing for about 6 months now.we are trying to take her off now. I'm watching her so closely it's annoying! I hope she is better! I hope Gus has fully recovered! please let me know how things have turned out
