They have bonded so well. Karma is somewhat taking the mother role. Karma gets protective of Destiny which in some cases is good but others not so good. Lol. You are braver than me.. My 2 smaller dogs were that close in age. A lot of fun and a lot of work!! I was walking them at 3am so they'd sleep inside of play lol. I am really excited to get my new little girl! I think Nikki will be very gentle and mothering to her too. I don't think February can come fast enough!! Be prepared for lots and lots of pictures!!

We try to take both pups for a walk or even better to the soccer park to play. Most evenings theres several dogs at the park to play with. It usually tuckers them out to sleep through the night, which is good because the hubby and i both currently work night shifts. The kids are older so they can stay home with the pups at night.

How do you find walking both? I've been walking my dogs separate and just started walking Nikki and my 11 yr old pug together. Hailey is terrible and I didnt want Nikki to learn from her. I thought I would walk the pup on her own for the first while too so she doesn't learn the bad habits. I'm 99.9% her name is going to be Penny.

I normally walk them seperately. Although that is going to change. This morning I felt brave enough to use the coupler to walk both at the same time. It worked so well!!!

Sure, a couple times they got tangled and i probably looked ridiculous fixing them but it was such a breeze once they figured out what I wanted from them! I will be doing it a lot more now.

Karma didnt pull as bad as she normally does and i figured out how to do a quick correction to her without correcting Destiny at the same time. I think i will enjoy taking both out together.
