Oh okay, yeah I didn't see anything on white boxers when I looked up breed info other than the possibility of deafness and my friend told me they can't be registered with certain kennel clubs.

I also read about the possibility of aggression with other dogs of the same gender, has anyone experienced that? She will be spayed, is that a factor?

I never heard that aggression thing before and I think it's a bunch of hooey. Lots of myths about white boxers. Yes, there is a higher chance of the dog being deaf, but the other stuff is a bunch of horse hockey. Enjoy your baby. She is adorable.

Cute pup...but please enlighten your friend that there shouldn't be another "oops" litter. That excuse is used quite often and is usually b.s. .... she/he should have her female spayed and/or her male neutered.

White boxers are not to be bred as they do not conform to standards. Like Kari has already informed you, any reputable breeder would never have bred them besides the fact that I'm almost 100% positive that NO health testing was done whatsoever.

As for the knawing on you, that's just normal behaviour for a 6week old puppy. Just keep re-directing her with a toy and she'll eventually get it. Your other dog will help as well.

There seems to be less of an aggression thing with other dog breeds than with other boxers. The best pairing is a male/female pairing. I personally have never had any problems with male/male combos. None of my males have any desire to be in charge. My females on the other hand.....ugh! Almost every female to come through our household has had dominance issues with other females. I have two now that we keep separated. They both get along fine with our third female, but they hate each other.

Thanks! Our older girl Dottie doesn't seem to display any dominant behavior towards other dogs so I'm guessing Mabyn shouldn't have any issues in that department. She's growing up around a well-trained, well-behaved girl, maybe that will set a good example.
My friend is planning on getting her white boy neutered so there isn't anymore accidents.

Good to hear your friend is neutering her male. There are enough unwanted, abandoned, homeless animals in the world already. No need to add to that population!

What a cutie. . . Welcome from California! I currently keep intouch with Zeus's Mom and Dad , and the first time he saw his mom aftter not seeing her since he left her side , I felt like they knew exactly who one another was. I posted pictures of the meeting , and I am quite glad that noone decided to comment on the fact that Zeus's mom is... in fact white.

health testing done? Nope. AKC registered? Nope. But he is my boy and i wouldnt change him for the world. like you i am 23 years old and not as educated in the breed as some of the other forum people. The forum has helped me and educated me.

yes, i should have done my research before I got Zeus, a reputable breeder, health testing, etc. BUT I DIDN'T. I was just ignorant in that sense. Now I know.

Zeus is my handsome boy, the light of my life... if anyone has anything negative to say about where he comes from.. so be it..

6 weeks is a bit young to be away from Mommy.. be sure to look into the supplements... you will learn a lot from this forum.. the people here are very educated and in a sense I look up to them. I am always like"in my forum it says..." lol .
