We are going to buy him a leash tonight and possibly a cheapish harness

Yes start leash training early....as long as they are "street legal" to start walking in the street. What I mean by that is that they have up to date shots and been cleared by the vet to be in the street to avoid catching anything. I heard many good things about the Freedom Harness, I am looking into getting some for mine.

BEST THING EVER!! Just waiting on a Large to come in for my LAB and we will be able to walk nice and easy without my arm being yanked off! lol

Are "freedom no pull" the same as "illusion harnesses". I'm going after work to Pet's mart and get one for Tyson Joseph, aka Nubbie.

No, the illusion harness looks like it goes just around the pups neck. like a collar. petsmart does not sell the Freedom Harness. Well my Petsmart doesnt have it.

Well considering he is only 7 weeks old he has only had his first set of shots. Im not getting anything too expensive as far as harnesses go until he is full grown
